Tier 2 Skilled Worker VISA Sponsorship

A UK Tier 2 visa sponsorship refers to the process where an employer in the United Kingdom sponsors a foreign worker for a Tier 2 (General) visa. The Tier 2 visa is a work visa category designed for skilled workers from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland.

In order to obtain a Tier 2 visa, a foreign worker must have a job offer from a UK-based employer who holds a valid Tier 2 sponsorship license. The employer becomes the sponsor and takes responsibility for the worker during their employment in the UK.

A Tier 5 Youth Mobility visa sponsorship refers to the requirement for applicants to have a sponsoring organization or government in order to apply for the visa. The sponsoring organization can be a government agency or an authorized sponsor, and their role is to endorse the visa application and issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) to the applicant.

To be eligible for a Tier 5 Youth Mobility visa, applicants must meet specific criteria, including:

  1. Age: Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old (or 18 to 35 for citizens of Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Monaco, Taiwan, and South Korea).
  2. Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of one of the participating countries, which currently include Australia, Canada, Japan, Monaco, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Republic of Korea, San Marino, Taiwan, and the British Overseas Territories.
